Privacy Policy - Histly

Last updated: 2026-07-19

Histly runs entirely in your browser. It has no backend server and does not transmit your browsing data anywhere. The extension makes zero network requests.

Data the extension reads

Browser history - read on-device via the history permission to display, search, filter, and delete entries on your behalf.

Data the extension stores

Settings, blacklist/whitelist rules, and cleanup schedules are stored locally via chrome.storage.local and never leave your device. Uninstalling the extension removes this data. Your browsing history itself stays in the browser's own history store.

Data the extension shares

None. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no remote APIs, no third parties, and no account system.
